Hello. I'm a medium-sized primary school. My roof is red because my exam results are below average. I'm unhappy because they are looked after OK, they behave well most of the time, and attendance is slightly lower than average.
Please note: this site is closing soon, some of the results may be out of date.

Brockley Primary School

Pupils at Brockley Primary School seem less happy than most and their exam results are below average, but they're facing tough circumstances.

This is one of 94 schools in Lewisham. The most recent information we have says this school is currently in Special Measures. We think that's a good thing, because it means there are experts in place to make things better. Based on what we know from 2010 (report and tables), many children come from low-income families and some children are struggling right from the start. The kids here get inadequate teaching, according to Ofsted and their behaviour is generally OK. The exam results here aren't as good as the national average and have got worse over the past few years.

Overall...
In November 2010, Ofsted said that this school was "inadequate". Going on what we know, it looks like the kids here are facing a few difficulties, and the school isn't showing many signs of improving. We feel concerned about the challenges facing this school.
